Customer: Flytoget AS (the Airport Express Train), Norway
Flytoget is a high profiled high-speed train with focus on safety and punctuality.
The Gardermoen project covered from the beginning both infrastructure and rolling material. Infrastructure has lately been
brought forward to Jernbaneverket (the Norwegian National Rail Administration) and the project has been turned into Flytoget
AS. Flytoget is responsible for the rolling material, while Mantena carries out the daily maintenance. When all the new carriages
are in place, they will run 16 multiple unit train set of 4 carriages.
Every day the distance done on the train is registered. The distance is registered for all parts of the train all the way down to axels and wheels. All wear down parts get closely checked and followed up based on distance done and given intervals using the maintenance management system Maximo.
